Feature reference

  • Tier-based discounting

Set discounts that increase as the bundle grows — 10% at three items, 15% at five, 20% at eight. Tiers are evaluated in checkout by a Shopify Function, so the price a customer sees in the builder is the price they pay, with no cart-page correction step.

  • Multi-step bundle builder

Split a bundle into ordered steps — choose a base, then a scent, then a size — with each step drawing from a different collection. Steps can be required or optional, and the running total updates as the customer moves through them.

  • Two layout modes

Render the builder as a grid for browsing-led catalogs or as a compact list for configurators with many options. Both are theme sections, so they inherit your typography and colours rather than arriving in an iframe.

  • Inventory-aware rules

Out-of-stock variants are hidden or disabled inside the builder rather than failing at checkout. For bundles that must ship complete, the whole bundle can be marked unavailable when any component runs out.

  • Cart drawer integration

Bundles appear in the cart as a single grouped line with their components nested underneath, so a customer can see what they built without the cart becoming a wall of individual items.

Use cases

  • Build-your-own gift box

Let customers fill a box from a curated collection, priced by how full it is. Common in beauty, confectionery, and homeware, where the box itself is part of the product and the contents change seasonally.

  • Supplement stacks

Sell protocols rather than products — a morning stack and an evening stack assembled from the same catalog, with a discount that makes the full stack cheaper than buying its parts separately.

  • Fashion multipacks

Sell coordinated outfits or size multipacks where the customer picks sizes per item. Inventory rules keep each size selectable only while that variant is in stock.

  • Starter kits with a fixed core

Combine a required base item with a customer-chosen selection of accessories. The required step cannot be skipped, so every kit ships complete.
